Hawaii Crash Statistics
Hawaii crash statistics are compiled from
the Hawaii Department of Transportation Traffic Accident Reporting
System (TARS), which includes all traffic reports by county police
departments. Information is taken from the crash reports only.
Alcohol data is based on reports by the police on the crash report
and is not based on BAC or medical reports and may differ from
NHTSA’s Fatal Accident Reporting System (FARS).
