Introduction
The Department of
Transportation issues permits for a variety of
functions involving lands under its jurisdiction.
Due to the large
number of permits issued by the department and the
variety of permit purposes, this page was prepared
to inform the applicant in determining which permit
they might need, where to obtain it, and the
requirements for its submittal. It also
contains a summary of each permit issued by the
Department of Transportation's Airports, Harbors,
and Highways Divisions.
This page is
organized into three sections:
Each section has
an appendix which lists the Neighbor Islands'
district office where the desired permit can be
obtained.
